Preparing for a photoshoot

Quality preparation is the key to the success of a photo shoot. Without exaggeration, we can say that 90% of success lies precisely in preparation.

  • Clothing

If we are talking about a photo shoot in a classic style or a family photo shoot, then it is better to choose the so-called timeless clothes. These are clothes from which it is impossible to say exactly what era or time it is from, maybe from the 21st century, or maybe from the 19th. It is desirable to use natural fabrics, and classic or pastel colors. Textural items such as coarse-knit sweaters or coarse fabric work very well. It is advisable to choose 2-3 looks.
    Example
Excessively bright, shiny items of clothing, with inscriptions or prints are best avoided.

  • Accessories

Accessories are designed to emphasize this or that idea in clothes or in a photo shoot, here you can give yourself much more freedom than in choosing clothes. Any unusual things can go very well: veils, scarves, scarves, glasses, hats, etc.

  • Nails

It is very important that the manicure is done right before the photo session. If there is nail polish, neutral and natural colors are desirable.
It is very bad if nail extensions have been done a long time ago and you can already see your nails under them. It doesn't look good in the photo and fixing it in Photoshop is a difficult and time-consuming process.

  • Hair

Hair is one of the most important elements in a portrait photo shoot. Hair should be quite lush. Well, if there is some natural, but neat styling.

  • Make-up

Make-up is desirable nude, discreet, and natural.
